Overview
The Data Entry Specialist supports the Programs team in refugee resettlement and post-resettlement case management and employment programing by performing critical data entry and record keeping functions for clients. The position will be responsible for data entry, data tracking, and file up-keeping. The objective of the program is to enroll clients in programming.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data entry and integration within case management database systems.
  • Complete data entry for clients during and after intake.
  • Ensure data is accurate, completing regular data entry quality assurance
  • Ensure data systems are matching and up to date.
  • Support record keeping and organization of client folders.
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings and periodic training sessions.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong Excel skills required.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and effective communicator.
  • Ability to prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in additional languages strongly preferred, particularly Haitian Creole, French, or Spanish.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Human Services, Counseling, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in data entry and administration.
  • Experience working with immigrant populations preferred.
  • Candidate must have dedication to the human rights of refugees, immigrants, and asylees.
