Pay:
No DANB CDA Certification: $20-23/hour DOE
CDA Certification (DANB only): $24-26/hour DOE
RDA Certification: $27+/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am – 6pm
One Saturday per month 8am – 1pm
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CDA/RDA Certification preferred, not required
- 2+ years of experience as Dental Assistant required
- Must have experience working in patient’s mouths – will not consider candidates who only have experience prepping instruments / trays
- Orthodontics experience preferred
- Experience with Dolphin system preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide chair-side clinical support to Orthodontist
- Complete sterilization processes for equipment / instruments
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans and maintaining oral health
- Update and maintain patient records
- Prepare brackets, bands, wires, and impressions
- Fit orthodontic appliances such as retainers, mouthguards, wires, bands
- Remove and replace wires, springs, bands
- Assist with operatory set-up and clean-up
