Schedule: 4-days per week, still determining whether it will be M-TH or Tu-F based on needs

Monday through Thursday 7:30AM-6:00PM
Tuesday through Friday 7:30AM-6:00PM

Notes:

Does not need to have pediatric experience but will be seeing pediatric patients
No oral surgery performed – all surgical needs will be referred out
Looking to add another Dentist due to high-patient volume, booking out patients months in advance – looking to alleviate and see patients in a more timely manner

Requirements:

Current, unrestricted New York State Dental License
Infection Control Certification
CPR Certification
Experience with Dentrix / Medent, preferred
Organized with great attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients and community partners
Handle confidentiality appropriately
Ability to provide quality customer service to each and every patient

Responsibilities:

Examines patients to diagnose and treat oral and dental conditions
Provides routine care of patients including but not limited to; examination of head and neck, administration of medication, periodontal therapy, x-rays, and follow-up maintenance checks
Management of emergencies including but not limited to; control of acute hemorrhages, anaphylaxis, respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, and seizures
Diagnosis, treatment, and management for illnesses and diseases that present in the office
Conducts procedures related to routine care or to symptoms exhibited during office visits including but not limited to; restorations, non-surgical extractions, pulpotomy, dentures, and incision and drainage
Provides consultation with specialists regarding administration of care to patient as applicable
Documents care provided in the Electronic Medical Record
Participates in Quality Improvement initiatives for the dental office including peer review
Maintains confidentiality of all patient information
