Digital Marketing Manager
*HYBRID/REMOTE (1 day in office in CT per week) 

Responsible for design, planning and implementation of the overall policies and goals for S&S e-business strategy. Position will work with information technology, creative, merchandising, circulation, database and other departments to maximize website and e-commerce effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve business revenue goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Set specific goals aligned with the overall business objectives.

Campaign Management

  • Plan, execute, and oversee marketing campaigns across various digital channels (email, SEM, SEO, social media, etc.).
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insights, and assess against goals.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a small team of experienced marketing professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creative thinking and innovation.

Budget Measurement

  • Develop and manage the digital marketing budget.


  • Work closely with leadership, sales, merchandising, circulation, tech service and other departments to ensure alignment with marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors as needed.

Qualifications, Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of experience in digital marketing or a related field.
  • 3+ years management experience

Skills And Attributes

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and relevant software applications
  • Google Analytics / Ads / Search Console / Shopping
  • Email Marketing Platforms experience
  • Affiliate Marketing
  • Understanding of ecommerce metrics and KPIs
  • Conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
