  •  Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using multiple estimating methodologies (comprehensive, historical, conceptual, and median approaches).
  •  Identify qualified suppliers and subcontractors; solicit and evaluate quotes for accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
  • Prepare complete estimates and proposal documents, including inclusions, exclusions, and letters of clarification.
  • Collaborate with Project Management and Operations teams to communicate estimate details and ensure a smooth transition from pre construction to execution.
  • Support project teams during construction by assisting with lighting package approvals, pricing updates, and development of change orders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned estimates and client-required documentation.
  • Participate in pre? and post project reviews to improve estimating accuracy and operational processes.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support departmental and organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is preferred.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

  • High school diploma required; additional specialized technical training strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Minimum 5 years of electrical estimating experience, or equivalent experience as a licensed journeyman electrician.
  • Design/build estimating experience is highly desirable and strongly prioritized.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify needs, solve problems, and drive tasks to completion.
