Pay: $19-24/hour
Schedule:
Monday 10:30AM – 9:00PM
Wednesday 7:00AM – 5:30PM
Thursday 10:30AM – 9:00PM
Friday 8:30AM – 7:00PM
(Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday – off)
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as Endoscopy Technician or Medical Assistant
- BLS Certification required
Responsibilities:
- Assist in endoscopic procedures and provide support to medical staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Prepare and set up endoscopic equipment for procedures
- Assist Physician with clinical GI procedures, using all GI equipment safely and skillfully
- Collect and handle specimens
- Assist with positioning of patient and application of monitoring equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the endoscopy unit
- Stock exam rooms
- Clean scopes and prepare them for disinfection, according to unit policy and procedures and manufacturer guidelines
- Assist the clinical team in delivering high-quality professional care while achieving optimal patient satisfaction
- Perform other office duties as assigned by Nurse Manager
