Hours 8am-5pm
Pay $ 20.75 – $28.75 /hr – based on experience
Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluating new product design and modifications to existing designs.
- Troubleshoot and document warranty returns to determine failure modes.
- Setup, operate, maintain and document test results of prototype experiments.
- Assist Engineering in developing test procedures for new designs.
- Assembles and tests low volume production assemblies as needed.
- Occasionally visit field installations and vendor locations.
- Responsible for personally maintaining work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.
- Reads schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions on a regular basis.
- Program and test microcontrollers with new revisions of software. (Training is available)
- Operate standard test equipment such as a multimeter, data logging equipment, various lab equipment.
- Utilize a computer with basic Microsoft programs to log data and create test reports.
- Build product simulators and sales demos using Engineering plans and schematics.
- Make modifications to or repair production circuit board assemblies.
Requirements
- Associates degree from two year college – or one – two years of work related experience
