Facilities Coordinator

Leading Boston-based non-profit is seeking an experienced Facilities professional to joint their team in a senior leadership capacity. 

This growth oriented opportunity directly supervises 3 dedicated maintenance techs., and reports to COO along with communicating regularly with Building Engineers. 

The ideal candidate will possess excellent proactive, anticipatory, client service driven capacity and empathy to serve sometimes challenging tenants, as well as the leadership mentality required to balance delegating tasks, assisting with feet-on-the ground, but also providing mentorship and communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation: 60,000 – 78,000/year

Schedule: Predominately M-F within business hours; some on-call weekend / evening availability, as needed 

Supervisory: No direct reports, facilitating/organizing/scheduling other techs., but strong growth potential to promote into 80-100k Facilities Director role, over time

 

-Strong sense of empathy for previously homeless clients
-Focus lens on safety & OSHA compliance
-Proactive & solutions focused / not reactive
-Experience with multi-unit apartments 
-Residential Facilities Mgr. exp.
-Leading 3 maintenance techs.
-Demonstrated experience ensuring workflows closed on time
-Meet with building inspectors
-Accountability for 4 buildings / 22 units + lease 135 units
