Reports into VP Residential
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and exceptional communication abilities to maintain a high standard of quality in all maintenance activities. The Maintenance Supervisor will have a range of duties, including:
- Team Management: Directly supervising and guiding the Maintenance Technicians, assigning tasks, and ensuring their timely completion. Providing training and support to enhance their skills and efficiency.
- Maintenance Coordination: Planning and scheduling regular maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs across the property. Prioritizing issues based on urgency and impact on residents’ comfort and safety.
- Technical Expertise: Possessing a strong understanding of various systems within the property, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances. Troubleshooting and overseeing complex repairs.
- Inventory and Budget Management: Managing inventory levels of supplies and equipment required for maintenance activities. Assisting in budget preparation and adherence, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Resident Interaction: Responding to maintenance requests promptly and effectively, ensuring resident satisfaction and timely resolution of issues. Building positive relationships with residents through excellent service.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and property codes. Conducting regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
