Salary: $200,000 – $250,000, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM / 8:00AM-5:00PM
Would also consider 4x10s
On call phone rotation for evenings and weekends – mostly refer patients to go to ER, may need to call patients for urgent lab results after hours, very light on call responsibilities
Patient Quota: 3,600 patients yearly, 900 quarterly, ~18 patients daily
Will have 1-2 nurses/MAs per provider for support, dependent on productivity
Requirements:
- Graduate of Accredited medical school with an awarded degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Diploma/Certificate of completion of Accredited Residency
- Current Board Certification (or ability to obtain within 3-years of graduation)
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Florida
- Current DEA certification without restriction
- PALS, NRP, ACLS, BLS
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Experience working in patient centered medical environment
Essential Functions:
- Provide comprehensive primary, preventative, and continuing medical care for the residents of local counties and the surrounding areas within their scope of education, training, credentials, and privileges
- Must take into account the physical, emotional, and social factors when diagnosing and treating patients due to a large population of medically needy, under insured, and underserved populations
- Care should be provided with compassion, dignity, and respect for each person regardless of ability to pay for services
- Practice of medicine as defined within their scope of license in the state of FL
- Practice of medicine within the scope of their training
- Practice of medicine within the scope of their credentialing in the state of FL
- Practice of medicine in accordance with current standards of care as defined and established by the standards of care for their license
- Practice of medicine in accordance with the established company quality measures
- Practice of medicine in a patient care medical home model, working collectively and professionally with the clinic team
- At all times, role model professionalism as a representative of the company, this includes adhering to company policies and procedures and being a team resource
- Participate in clinic meetings and functions including but not limited to peer review, continuous quality improvement, chart reviews, provider meetings, etc.
- Adhere to all HIPAA, conflict of interest, and confidentiality requirements
- Other duties as needed to support the ongoing operations of the organization
