Position: Family Physician 
Compensation: $200,000 – $233,000 + $15k sign on bonus
Full time, outpatient

Overview:
The Family Physician provides comprehensive patient care across assigned clinical sites. Responsibilities include maintaining an active clinical practice, ensuring high-quality patient care, meeting productivity goals, supporting regulatory compliance, and participating in teaching and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Practice:

  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records

  • Apply sound clinical judgment and appropriate use of consults

  • Stay current with medical literature and best practices

  • Respond to patient communications, including patient portal requests

  • Participate in peer review and quality improvement projects

Teaching & Training:

  • Precept residents, medical students, and other healthcare trainees as appropriate

  • Participate in residency faculty or program meetings

Organizational & Managerial:

  • Maintain punctuality, professional appearance, and reliable attendance

  • Manage time and resources effectively

  • Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and teamwork

  • Participate in performance improvement activities

  • Follow organizational policies and procedures

Professional Development:

  • Meet regulatory, licensure, and annual health requirements

  • Identify learning needs and utilize resources for professional growth

  • Participate in development of other staff members

Communication & Relationships:

  • Maintain professional, courteous, and respectful interactions with patients, families, colleagues, and community members

  • Handle phone and patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school and residency program in Family Medicine

  • NY State Medical License

  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine

  • Current BCLS certification

  • Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based practice

  • Effective interpersonal, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
