A Medical Device Company is seeking a Field Service Engineer – clients based in the Metro NYC area!?

- $70-80k salary (Will be paid an hourly rate and eligible for OT as necessary)
- Permanent / Direct hire?
- Mon – Fri 40 hrs/week, OT potential
- This is a TRAVEL position (about 80%of the time) mostly by driving personal vehicle
- Personal Vehicle needed to drive to and from clients along with tools and parts needed for the role
- Hired candidate?WILL be reimbursed for mileage and paid for all travel?
REQUIREMENTS:
- Two (2) year medical equipment service industry experience including demonstrated?proficiency in resolving technical problems in medical imaging modality.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Local Area Networks, computers,?disk drives and data management.
- Experience with digital volt meters, oscilloscopes, laser power meters, optical alignment?tools and specialized test equipment.
- Field / Travel experience preferred but not necessary?
DUTIES😕
- Provide high priority site visits to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair system problems,?perform preventative maintenance procedures and technical upgrades on instruments and software.
- Provide telephone and remote technical support to resolve equipment related problems.
- Accurately report failure and repair data through company systems and to appropriate?personnel.
- Maintain clinical and technical knowledge to stay current with technology and product?applications.
- Follow up on customer concerns and bring issues to resolution.
