Field Service Technician – Haverhill, MA
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pressure vessels and high-pressure systems. This position requires extensive travel to customer sites to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of pressure vessels and high-pressure equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct pressure tests and safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Provide training and technical support to customers regarding system operation and maintenance.
- Document service visits, including detailed reports on findings and repairs performed.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve product performance and serviceability.
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and industry regulations, such as ASME, NBIC, and OSHA.
- Travel frequently to domestic and international customer sites as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, or repair of pressure vessels, industrial equipment, or high-pressure systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, P&IDs, and schematics.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) domestically and internationally.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain necessary work permits or visas for international travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of pressure vessel codes and safety regulations (ASME, NBIC, OSHA)
- Experience with PLCs and control systems
- Welding and fabrication experience
