Title: Financial Advisor
Location: Westborough, MA (3 days onsite)
Salary: (80K-120K) + Bonus

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the financial planning field and an ability to work both independently and in a team environment

  • Being aware of others’ reactions and understanding why they react as they do
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills are required
  • At least three years of relevant industry experience required
  • At a minimum, a strong willingness work diligently through the CFP curriculum to attain the designation is required

Responsibilities

  • Established Metrowest Registered Investment Advisory firm seeking a Financial Advisor to develop, maintain, and deepen client relationships with strong service and sound advice
  • Serve as lead advisor to new and existing clients of the firm
  • Interview clients to determine their current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance, or other suitable information needed to develop a financial plan
  • Manage client relationships, providing the highest level of service and support
  • Communicate with clients over the phone, via email and in person at regular review meetings
  • Work with clients to develop and maintain financial plans
  • Consult with clients about their allocations and investment strategies as they evolve over time
  • Maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain Investment Policy Statements for client portfolios and review related investment strategy decisions with the firm’s Portfolio Managers
  • Contact clients periodically to determine any changes in their financial status
  • Follow all compliance procedures as outlined in the Compliance Policy and Procedures Manual
  • Respond to the Chief Compliance Officer and other compliance personnel as required/requested for completion of various compliance tasks
  • Perform other related duties as required

Education, Training & Experience
• At least three years of relevant industry experience required
• Bachelor’s degree required, with concentration in accounting, finance, economics, or related field preferred
• CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation preferred but not required. At a minimum, a strong willingness work diligently through the CFP curriculum to attain the designation is required
• Experience with Money Guide Pro or other financial planning software is a plus
