Floating Medical Assistant – Orthopedic Office
Locations: Clifton, Woodbridge, Jersey City, and Montclair
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9-5pm – could vary a little
- set schedules with locations for each day of the week
- no weekends
- hours could vary but mostly a 9a-5p
Pay: $23 – $26 DOE
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have reliable transportation!
- MA Diploma – national certification preferred but not required!
- Minimum 1 year medical assisting experience
- Prior orthopedics a plus, not required!
- Current BLS/CPR cert
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and scheduling patients
- Rooming patients
- Vitals
- EMT system is ECW
- Preparing Independent Medical Examinations (IME)
- Traveling to IME locations for triage and/or front desk:
- Clifton
- Woodbridge
- Jersey City
- Montclair
- Forms
- Dictations/scribing
- Sending daily logs
