Home Health Occupational Therapist
*part time

Occupational therapy works by using everyday activities (or occupational activities) as a means to rehabilitate a muscle, range of movement, or otherwise improve a patient’s overall ability to perform lifestyle tasks.

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Marion county)
Pay: $50 – $55
Schedule: PT, flexible schedules. Specific days may vary week to week, day typically starts at 8am but dependent on patient needs.
Occ Therapists will have 4-8 visits a day depending on type of visit (evaluations, re-evaluations, regular visits, recertifications)

Mileage reimbursement offered! 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year home care experience
  • Must have CPR certification
  • Bilingual is a plus!
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Indiana
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Minimum of one year of OT experience (preferred).
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.
  • Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle for travel within service areas.

Responsibilities:

  • EMR system is Continulink
  • Assess and evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize task-oriented and therapeutic activities to restore physical and cognitive function.
  • Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques for daily living skills.
  • Design, fabricate, and fit orthotic and self-help devices to improve patient mobility.
  • Document treatment plans, progress, and necessary revisions in compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate with physicians, caregivers, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
