Part Time Human Resource Generalist

Essential Functions:
o Manage day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (health, dental, vision, long-term disability, worker’s compensation, life insurance, flexible spending and dependent care plan, retirement plans, etc.) such as enrollments, terminations, COBRA
o Resolve employee related benefit issues
o Analyze current benefits, evaluating the use, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience and competitive trends in benefits programs
o Investigate new benefits programs and improve existing programs, evaluate and negotiate with all our service providers
o Assist the CFO with annual benefit renewal
o Lead talent acquisition and recruitment processes; conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
o Conduct background check
o Manage the implementation of human resource policies
o Maintain employee personnel files and records in electronic and paper form
o Ensure compliance with labor regulations
o Update Employee Handbook ensuring it meets all compliance requirements
o Manage employee leaves (FMLA, PFML etc.)

Qualifications:
· Proven experience as an HR Generalist
· Thorough knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures
· Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
· Excellent communication and people skills
· Aptitude in problem-solving and result driven
