Job Cost Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Contract cost and maintenance

Track and monitor equipment and office rentals including insurance.

Track escalation sensitive products.

Enter Cost Codes for new projects.

Enter Cost Codes for Extra Work Orders.

Input quantities and production to Job Cost.

Generate cost-to-complete with accruals for each Progress Payment.

Generate reports for Project Managers and Finance Director.

Prepare and maintain “Labor Rates Breakdown” by State for Estimating Department.

Prepare and maintain “Labor Rates Breakdown” by State for Change Order billings.

Prepare and maintain Vehicle and Equipment Cost Rates in Equipment Watch.

Prepare and maintain Vehicle and Equipment Cost Rates for Internal Use

Prepare and process Extra Work Orders.

Prepare and process Subcontractor/Vendor Back Charges.

Other administrative functions (as needed).

Qualifications:

Business Degree or Associates

1+ years job cost accounting experience

Strong business /communication /accounting / analytical skills

Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize multi tasks and attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines while delivering accurate information

Quick learner, resourceful, self-starter, strong work ethic

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
