Job Cost Analyst – Construction
We are seeking a Job Cost Analyst to oversee all job cost functions and support accurate reporting for our construction projects. This role ensures costs are tracked, analyzed, and reported to help leadership make informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage job cost data including labor, materials, equipment, POs, and budgets.

Develop and maintain accurate Work-in-Process (WIP) reports for all projects.

Collaborate with project managers and foremen to review job performance, gains, and fades.

Build and refine advanced Excel queries, pivot tables, and reports to support management reviews.

Ensure invoices align with POs; maintain warehouse inventory and equipment records.

Support billing setup and reporting for seasonal divisions.
Qualifications:

3+ years of job costing experience, preferably in construction.

Advanced Excel skills (queries, pivot tables, lookups, power queries required).

Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to collaborate across departments.

Knowledge of accounting software/web applications a plus.

Working knowledge of SQL
