Medical Lab Technician
Assignment: Temp to hire
Location: Dedham MA
Setting: Urgent Care
Schedule: 4 10s Monday-Thursday 8:45am-7:15pm (pending late patients)
Pay: $24-28/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:
• Perform start-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures on laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Communicate lab results to the clinical team and maintain documentation of all tests.
• Prepare specimens for examination and perform moderately complex laboratory tests using automated equipment.
• Perform patient care duties including vitals, EKGs, wound care, phlebotomy, and patient transport as needed.
• Maintain adequate supply inventory for daily operations and ensure cleanliness of used equipment.

Requirements:

Minimum Associate’s Degree required
BLS Certification required
1-3 years related work experience required
EMT, Paramedic, CNA, or Medical Assistant training preferred
Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Department settings preferred
