We are looking for leasing consultants in the Hartford area for our Affordable housing portfolio – starting pay is $22-25 per hour
Schedule of 9am – 6pm
LEASING CONSULTANT
- Handle leasing, customer service & administrative responsibilities in a team atmosphere. Also, organize, coordinate and oversee group resident activities
- Handle leasing, outreach, prospecting and lead generation; including greeting prospective residents, setting appointments, showing apartments, following up and processing applications
- Coordinate with the maintenance department re: apartment turnovers, move-ins and move-outs, making sure vacant apartments are ready
- Prepare and process lease renewals
- Prepare move-in packages, conduct move-in inspections, follow-up with new residents
- Handle administrative functions including clerical and reception responsibilities and light bookkeeping
- Other functions relating to leasing and residents
- Organize, coordinate and oversee resident group activities that enrich participants’ living experience at our community
- Customer Service: assist with resident concerns or related activities
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of apartment leasing experience
- Good typing skills
- Intermediate or better proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) and any Property Management software; Yardi preferred
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, as well as professional appearance and demeanor
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service/resident relations
- Experience in organizing, coordinating and overseeing resident activities
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations/guidelines
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours (Saturdays a MUST)
