Licensed Practical Nurse – Community Health Center

Location: Bronx, NY
Pay: $40-$45/hr
Schedule: M-F 9am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- EMR: Athena
- Reviews medical charts
- Assists physicians and registered nurses.
- Provides wound care
- Administers medications
- Plans and manages patient care according to each patient’s needs
- Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration
- Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas
- Provides patient & family teaching and discharge instructions
- Scrubs of any color
Requirements:
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- BLS or BCLS
- Bi-lingual a plus but not required
- NY State LPN license
- At least 1 year experience required
- Graduate of an approved School of Licensed Practical Nursing
