Hours: 40 hours/week; 4 10s 7:30am-5:30pm
Pay: Flex $40-47/hour depending on experience
Location: Boston MA
Parking: None – must take public
Assignment: Contract to possible hire
Job Description
- Performs all triage functions
- Post-op phone calls 24 hours after surgical appointment (assess s/sx of infection, discuss wound care and answer any questions).
- Call or fax pharmacies with appropriate medication prescriptions and renewals as directed by the physician including the completion of prior authorization forms.
- Responsible for discussing normal lab and pathology results with patients as directed by physician.
- Assist/set up any further appointments/testing required/requested by MD.
- Patient care management/coordination – works with physicians/clinical support/scheduling staff to ensure that patient care needs are met.
- Performs and documents all triage interaction, lab results, and prescription renewals in EPIC
Requirements:
- Active LPN license in the state of MA
- EPIC experience highly preferred
- Ambulatory experience preferred
