Our environment requires strong multitasking skills, physical stamina, quick thinking, and a patient-focused mindset. In our setting, nurses are on their feet for extended periods and move constantly between patients throughout the day. It’s a highly active and demanding role, and those with prior hospital experience or exposure to similarly fast-paced environments tend to adapt and thrive more easily. We’re ideally looking for one of the following –
- A candidate with recent hospital floor experience – someone who is comfortable and has experience in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical setting where being on your feet all day and handling rapid patient turnover is the norm
- A recent nursing graduate with a strong clinical training and a genuine passion for patient care, who is eager to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced, outpatient GI facility
Pay: $27-32/hour
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:00AM – 5:30PM
Requirements:
- New Jersey LPN License
- ACLS/BLS Certification
- Experience with NextGen preferred but not required
- IV Certification and Telemetry Course required before start
Responsibilities:
- Triage patient symptoms based on urgency
- Interview patients about their medical history, medications, allergies, and current symptoms
- Schedule procedures
- Contact patients with results
- Complete medication refills
- Manage prior authorizations
- Assist with GI capsule endoscopies, manometry, IV infusions, and BRAVO capsule endoscopy
