Salary: 60k – 75k
Hours: M-F 7:30am – 4pm
Location: On-Site at our 849 Honeyspot road location. (This is about a 2-3 minute drive from our corporate office where we met)
Key things:
- 3-5 year’s experience working in logistics with vendor communication and negotiation to secure best rates
- Experience with TMS – Any TMS experience is great. We’re not looking for experience with any specific TMS. This something we are looking to introduce and would like someone who has TMS experience to help us when the time comes
- International Export Experience – We export internationally to Canada and Mexico. If they have experience exporting to Canada but not Mexico or vice versa, we can absolutely train them on the other. It is helpful for them to have experience with this since the paperwork is very specific
- Longevity – This is a huge item for our hiring team. We are looking for someone who is looking to stay with the company for a couple of years. We have passed on a couple of resumes from my own recruitment efforts because the applicant has only been at certain positions for 1-2 years before moving to the next one. This becomes an issue when they have 5 jobs for instance listed on their resume and they are all within that same 1-2 year window
Highly Preferred:
- Experience in shipping with temperature and shelf-life requirements. It’s a huge plus if someone has worked with refrigeration exports
- ERP System – This is great to have too since the Logistics Coordinator may be using the ERP.
