Maintenance Manager
Type: temp to hire
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8a-430p
- On Call required, including some nights and weekend.
Requirements:
1 year of applicable work experience
Demonstrate the ability to perform maintenance tasks
Maintain neat, clean, professional appearance at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community or company events.
Responsibilities:
Regular inspection of buildings and grounds. All noted deficiencies will be communicated to the Property Manager.
Supervise and assist the Maintenance Technicians, providing direction and guidance; assigns all job work priorities, determining the extent of repaired and necessary corrective measures, with an explanation to the Maintenance Technician of their duties.
Ensures the prompt and proper completion of maintenance and repairs on all apartments, then returns the completed service request forms to the Property Manager.
Regularly inspects the grounds and public areas to assure that employees are performing their assigned duties in maintaining adequate property cleanliness and upkeep of all public areas and grounds.
Responsible for the control and operation of the maintenance shop, all mechanical equipment, and the project vehicle. Responsible for the organization of the office, shop, and garage.
Provide continuous coverage of the property for any emergency situations.
Prepare bid specifications and obtain competitive bids. Supervise all contract work and contractors’ performance.
Coordinate and participate in all snow removal required at the property.
