Maintenance Tech
Pay: $22/hr

Shifts: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Job Description
Preventative maintenance and repair work
- Respond to requests for emergency maintenance and repairs, implement routine and preventative maintenance of all equipment systems and fixtures in the building and on the grounds
- Work under the Services Supervisor and accept instructions and assignments from the Assistant Supervisor
- To clearly understand and participate in the proper communication system set up by the Maintenance Department
- Complete monthly maintenance and safety reports
- Assist in the distribution of supplies
- Maintain all building grounds so that it is always clean and a neighborhood asset (mowing, raking, snow removal, etc.)
- Maintain all equipment and tools pertinent to your work
- Maintain positive working relationships and communication with housing staff
- Attend core curriculum training and attend other related training as required
- Perform other related duties as required/directed by Supervisor
- Perform additional duties, and/or work at alternative locations in the event of a weather or other emergency
- Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements of the Inn, and elevate matters impacting health and safety to Supervisor
- Comply with and model compliance with all PSI policies, including illness prevention and occupational health policies.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read printed labels and instructions
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing
- Minimum of six (6) months of maintenance experience
- Knowledge of building trades such as painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems
- Operate equipment and deliver vehicles for maintenance
- Frequent bending, standing, stooping, stretching, and lifting
- Ability to lift heavy objects 50 – 100 lbs. assisted, such as appliances and furniture
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders and access all areas of the buildings
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations
PREFERRED:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Previous experience in Building Maintenance
.Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis. You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
