Maintenance Technician
Temp to Hire
Location: Worcester, Massachusetts 01602
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm
Duties:
- Performing repairs and maintenance tasks
- Responding to tenant requests and attending to regular cleaning and maintenance.
- Reporting larger issues to Property Managers or owners.
- Conducting routine inspections of building systems, including HVAC, fire alarms, and sprinklers.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety of all common areas.
- Managing an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering new items as needed.
- Documenting tasks for reporting to property management
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in general maintenance.
- Experience in affordable housing preferred.
- Plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repair and electrical experience required.
- Emergency on-call rotation is required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
