We have partnered with a leading property management companies with 100 locations across the Northeast who is in need of Maintenance help for their 400+ unit property in Yonkers to assist with Apartment Turnovers and Maintenance Orders.
Pay range is $25/hour with a schedule of 8am – 430pm Mon-Fri
Responsibilities:
- The goal of the position is to provide residents with a clean, well maintained and fully functioning living environment.
- General repairs to the apartments / common areas of the buildings and grounds, vacant apartment preparation, trash removal, emergency repairs, cleaning, landscaping, ordering maintenance equipment, accepting deliveries and moving furniture and/or appliances.
- This includes turn projects (fixing up apartments after residents leave prior to leasing to a new resident)
- Hands-on experience within basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems (heat pump experience a plus), swimming pools, landscaping and cleaning.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
