Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Troy, NY
Pay: $27-30/hr
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician II supports daily maintenance operations across our properties. This mid-level position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, hands-on, and experienced with preventive maintenance, repairs, unit turnovers, and service requests to ensure all facilities are in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs in areas such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
- Respond promptly to resident and tenant service requests, providing courteous and professional communication.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, systems, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Assist with apartment and office turnovers, including cleaning, painting, and fixture replacement.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition; report shortages or repair needs.
- Support snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal maintenance as needed.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
