Maintenance Technician (Industrial)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Arlington, TX. In this role, you’ll perform essential maintenance and repair functions for equipment, facilities, and vehicles under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. This is a hands-on position that plays a key role in minimizing downtime, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring a safe, clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repair work according to established priorities, company guidelines, and manufacturer specifications.

Reduce unplanned downtime by maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems.

Execute scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections (fluid levels, filters, water flows, quench oils, washer soap, etc.).

Maintain a clean, organized work area and promptly clean up after maintenance activities.

Assist with equipment testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions as directed.

Accurately document all maintenance, modifications, and repairs performed.

Maintain updated manuals, blueprints, and technical documents.

Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials and supplies as needed.

Identify and report repair needs and suggest improvements for efficiency, quality, and safety.

Help manage inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies.

Represent the company responsibly when handling customer equipment and materials.
Qualifications:

U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required for ITAR compliance).

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or college degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.

3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.

Proven troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical equipment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based maintenance documentation.

Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

Must possess basic maintenance or industrial tools.

Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

Ability to work at elevated heights and in confined spaces.

Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.

Regular bending, standing, walking, crouching, climbing, and reaching.

Exposure to heat, fumes, humidity, and noise typical of an industrial environment.

Visual and auditory ability to perform tasks and communicate effectively.
