Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will bring deep HR expertise from a manufacturing environment, hold a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification, and have hands-on experience with Ceridian Dayforce or a similar HCM platform.
This role is both strategic and operational — overseeing employee relations, performance management, compliance, and workforce development, while serving as a key business partner to site leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all HR functions within the manufacturing facility, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to plant leadership and management teams on HR matters.
- Administer and support the use of Ceridian Dayforce for payroll, timekeeping, benefits, and workforce analytics.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (EEO, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.).
- Oversee and continuously improve onboarding, training, and development programs tailored to manufacturing personnel.
- Champion employee engagement and retention initiatives; foster a positive and safe workplace culture.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues with professionalism, empathy, and adherence to policy.
- Collaborate with corporate HR to implement company-wide policies, compensation structures, and benefit programs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and reporting in line with organizational and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification required.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in employee relations, coaching, and workforce development.
Preferred:
- Ceridian Dayforce (HCM/payroll/time & attendance) experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement cultures.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
