Manufacturing Assistant
- Pay Rate: $20
- Hours: Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm
- Type: Contract to Hire
- Location: Burlington, MA
Responsibilities:
- Cut, clean, and stretch thin biological tissues using a small die-cutting press, scissors, forceps, and fixtures
- Pour, rinse and wash biological tissues with chemicals.
- Work in a cleanroom ISO Class 8 environment with masks, smocks, gloves, and shoe covers
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Follow written specifications and manufacturing instructions to assemble a variety of medical devices
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures and manufacturing instructions
- Prior Medical device assembly experience is preferrable, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Candidate should have good eyesight, hand dexterity (hand coordination) and attention to detail
- Able to use small tools, microscopes, work with chemicals, and tabletop equipment
- Able to sit/gown for extended periods during the shift
- Able to perform frequent repetitive motions
- Able to lift up to 30-LBs
..Pay Statement and Pay Transparency Laws: rate of pay listed is on a per hour basis. You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
