MAP Registered Nurse
Location: Springfield & Easthampton, MA
Schedule Options:
- Part-Time MAP RN: 20 hours/week
- Full-Time Psychiatric RN: 40 hours/week (includes MAP duties)
Compensation:
- $40 – 50 /hr based on experience
- Full-time salary range: $83,200–$105,000/year

Role Summaries
Part-Time MAP RN (20 hours/week)
This RN supports Residential Services in Springfield and works out of the Easthampton office. The role ensures medication oversight and compliance, conducts youth health assessments, and carries the nursing on-call phone for urgent needs. This position focuses heavily on MAP RN duties, ensuring staff training and medication tracking across programs.
Full-Time Psychiatric RN (40 hours/week)
This RN performs a broader scope of care, providing routine health assessments, medication management, and individualized health education to youth in residential settings. In addition to general psych RN responsibilities, this role includes MAP RN duties such as staff training, medication ordering/check-in, and regulatory oversight.
Requirements (Both Roles)
- Registered Nurse licensure in Massachusetts (active and in good standing)
- MAP RN and MAP Nurse Monitor certifications (or willingness to obtain and maintain)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in residential or psychiatric settings preferred
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and developmental stages of youth
- Understanding of federal and state regulations regarding de-escalation and humane restraint practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred (especially for full-time role)
