General Description of Job:
This employee is responsible for the safe and proper handling of materials in a timely manner. Employees will keep production centers supplied with raw materials and transport finished products to other areas using material handling equipment.
Employees will occasionally set-up and operate a production press or other production equipment. All standards must be adhered to, data recorded, and procedures followed.
This employee is responsible for the daily upkeep /cleanliness of the equipment he may operate and the general work area.
Employees could on occasion be performing a non-routine task as business conditions warrant.

Tools/Equipment Used:
Employees operate material handling equipment; fork trucks, pendant controlled crane, hand/power pallet jack or two wheeled dolly. Mechanical power press, hammers, assorted hand tools, lift carts, and strapping devices will also be used.
Employees may use micrometers, calibers, go/no go gauges, and plug gauges and other hand test devices if on an inspection task. PPE required; hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, seat belts and aprons if needed.
