Internal medicine office looking for temp to hire medical assistant.
M-F part time hours before transitioning to full-time.
Job Requirements:
- Medical Assistant certification required
- Phlebotomy certification a plus – not required but must have blood draw experience
- At least 1-2 years of clinical medical assistant experience
- Experience working in Internal Medicine a plus
- Medical administrative experience from past roles
- Phlebotomy experience – must have experience drawing blood and processing labs
- EMR experience
- Experience working with Athena a plus
- Experience implementing physical exam techniques and procedures
- Experience recording, tracking and updating medical records
- Experience scheduling appointments and answering phone calls
- Experience assisting the physician with procedures
- Experience checking vital signs
- Experience performing EKGs and ABIs
- Experience performing basis wound care
- Experience administering injections
