Medical Assistant – Colonial Heart (Williamsburg, VA)
Location: Williamsburg, VA 23188
Schedule: M-F 8-4:30
Interview: Virtual with Clinical Manager
Pay: $20-24 DOE (18-22 perm)

Overview:
Colonial Heart is a New Cardiology office opening it’s doors on 10/27. Ideally looking for a local experienced and reliable Medical Assistant who also has experience in admin. This practice has 4 exam rooms with 1 provider who is in office around 28 hours a week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Measure Vital Signs (Manually)
- EKGs
- Greet and Room Patients
- Scheduling Appointments
- Authorizations and Referrals
- Preparing rooms for patients to be seen
- Taking notes/Keeping records
- Answering phones and screening patients
- Reviewing Medication Records
- Updating patient information EMR (Athena)
- Maintaining supplies and equipment
- Sterilizing Instruments
Qualifications/Requirements:
- MA Diploma or Cert is fine upon temp hire. Must get National Cert upon Perm hire.
- BLS (only required within the first month but they offer in house classes upon hire)
- EMR (Will Train on Athena)
