Hiring for a Medical Assistant for a Cardiology office in Henrico, VA.
Schedule: M-F either 8-4:30 or 8:30-5
Pay: $20-22/hr based on experience
Must have Medical Assistant Certificate OR if they have an active CNA certificate and have experience doing EKGs/BP and other clinical tasks, will consider as well.
Job Responsibilities:
- Measure Vital Signs
- Greet and Room Patients
- Preparing rooms for patients to be seen
- Taking notes/Keeping records
- EKGs
- Answering phones and screening patients
- Reviewing Medication Records
- Updating patient information EMR (Athena)
- Maintaining supplies and equipment
- Sterilizing Instruments
Qualifications/Requirements:
- MA Diploma or Certificate OR a CNA certificate with EKG/BP experience
- BLS/CPR certificate
- EMR experience
