Hiring for a Medical Assistant for a Cardiology clinic in Chesterfield, VA
Schedule: M-F either 8-4:30 or 8:30-5
Pay: $20-22 (Based on experience)
MUST have at least 6 months of recent Medical Assistant experience and an MA certificate or diploma
Job Responsibilities:
- Measure Vital Signs
- Greet and Room Patients
- Preparing rooms for patients to be seen
- Taking notes/Keeping records
- EKGs
- Answering phones and screening patients
- Reviewing Medication Records
- Updating patient information EMR (Athena)
- Maintaining supplies and equipment
- Sterilizing Instruments
Qualifications/Requirements:
- MA Diploma or Cert is fine upon temp hire. Must get National Cert upon Perm hire.
- BLS (only required within the first month but they offer in house classes upon hire)
- EMR (Will Train on Athena)
