Medical Assistant
Temp for one month
Location: Andover MA
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30/7:45am – 4:00pm
Pay: $24-26/hour
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient intake, including history of present illness (HPI), vital signs, vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
- Assist clinicians with procedures, treatments, and patient education
- Manage patient follow-up tasks, including portal messaging, phone triage, and appointment reminders
- Assist in crisis situations, escalating medical or environmental emergencies as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited MA program
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an MA, including phlebotomy skills
