Internal Medicine office is looking for a Medical Assistant.
Temp to Potential Hire
Hours: Mon-Fri (7a-4:30p)
Responsibilities:
- Accompany patients to the exam/procedure room.
- Prepare patients for visit (vitals, EKG, phlebotomy, etc.)
- Maintain patient records
- Routinely check EPIC in-basket
- Cross trained on front desk duties including but not limited to, greeting patients, answer calls, scheduling, and updating patients records.
Qualifications:
- EMR experience required – EPIC preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred
- Medical Assistant Diploma required – National certification preferred
- Primary care experience preferred
- Experience in phlebotomy, POC testing, and EKGs
- High School Diploma or equivalent
