Medical Front Desk Coordinator

Hiring for a Medical Front Desk Coordinator in Chicago, IL. 

Pay Rate: $18-22/hr based on experience 
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7am-8pm, Friday 7am-12pm, Saturday 9am-1pm. Will only work 40 hours per week, rotating schedule. Schedules are presented monthly.

MUST have at least one year of recent Medical Front Desk experience.

As a Front Desk Coordinator, you’ll be the first welcoming face for our patients, playing a vital role in creating an exceptional care experience. You’ll provide outstanding customer service, seamlessly manage patient registration and scheduling, and act as a guide to help patients navigate our health centers. From ensuring accurate records to assisting patients with financial resources, your proactive and compassionate approach will help eliminate barriers to care. By collaborating with the Patient Care Team and embracing innovation, you’ll directly contribute to improving community health and fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual strongly preferred
  • Education Requirements: High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in healthcare, hospitality, or a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices is desirable. Proficiency in office software and electronic health records systems.
