This newly created position is open due to growth and will have full ownership of the entire AR function. This includes improving/automating processes, enhancing systems, strengthening controls and training, mentoring and developing staff.
The AR Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the accounts receivable process including invoicing, collections, cash application, and reconciliation.
Duties:
- Enhance AR processes and systems
- Partner with Department Heads to resolve complex AR issues
- Review, resolve customer disputes
- Collect outstanding balances
- Research any discrepancies
- Resolve escalated issues
- Ensure timely and accurate billing
- Continuously strive to improve/automate processes &maximize efficiencies
- Assist with month-end close by preparing reports, journal entries, and reconciliation
- Monitor credit
- Improve efficiencies to maximize cash flow.
- Train, manage and develop staff
