OB/GYN Sonographer – Full Time (Mon-Thurs, 32 hrs/week)
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, primarily in obstetrics and gynecology, to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This is a key role in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring accurate imaging results.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Thursday (8 AM – 5 PM), 32 hours/week
Compensation: $45–50/hr (~$74,880–83,200 for 32 hrs/week)
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound exams, including obstetric, gynecological, and abdominal scans
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment in a safe and clean environment
- Prepare and educate patients about procedures, addressing any concerns
- Analyze and discuss images with physicians for diagnostic purposes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per medical standards
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols
- Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and best practices
Qualifications & Skills:
- RDMS certification with OB/GYN specialization
- Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN sonography experience preferred
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to OB/GYN
- Proficient in EPIC; VIEWPOINT experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and professional in patient care
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
