Occupational Health RN ($45/hour)

Responsibilities:

  • Remaining up-to-date with current health and safety legislation.
  • Ensuring the health and safety of the workers by inspecting the worksite to maintain health and safety standards.
  • Creating a healthier and safer environment to reduce disability claims and work-related injuries.
  • Promoting worker productivity by developing and implementing health policies.
  • Educating and training employees in the risks they may face.
  • Screen employees for illness/temperature upon entrance
  • Triage and provide wound care/illness medication as needed

Baseline Requirements:

  • NY RN Licensure or EMT Certification
  • BLS/CPR Certification
  • RN: experience in occupational health, urgent care, ER, ICU, or med-surg ideally
  • EMT: experience with first aid, triage, return to work clearance, limitations, physicals, and potentially vaccines
