Dermatology practice hiring for 2 patient access reps
Temp to hire
Hours: 4×10’s preferred, 8am-6pm with a day off during the week
Also would consider 8:30am-5:30am
Responsibilities:
- Respond to all incoming calls – document and direct accordingly.
- Appointment Scheduling and/or rescheduling
- Reviewing all registration details, account balances and deductible/co-insurance issues.
- Alert all patient registration and collection issues to on-site billing and main reception.
- Actively assist patient with acquiring needed referrals
- Process prior authorizations
- Manage triage calls
- Assist patients with prescription refills and issues
- Follow-up calls as requested by providers
- Additional projects as assigned
Requirements
At least 1 recent year of healthcare administration experience
EMR experience
Strong customer service skills
Medical call center experience
