Title: Patient Access Representative 
Pay: 23-26/hour, depending on experience
Temp: 4-6 months with possible extensions, MUST be able to start on 6/16 
Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Job Summary
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for managing patient check-in and check-out processes, performing pre-registration functions, and providing clerical support in a fast-paced medical environment. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth patient experience and effective communication within the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
• Check-in and check-out patients at assigned practice(s).
• Perform various pre-registration functions including scheduling patient visits, tests, and surgical procedures.
• Greet patients and answer telephone calls, triaging as necessary.
• Perform various clerical and administrative functions as needed.
• Cover different offices as directed.

Requirements
• Completion of 4 years of high school is required.
• Good computer and typing skills are required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
• One year of medical office practice experience or graduation from a medical secretary program or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or have an exemption.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
