Payroll Analyst

The Payroll Analyst is primarily responsible for executing various payroll functions, such as processing weekly payroll, maintaining accurate employee data in the payroll system, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role demands strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks while adapting to evolving priorities with promptness.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll on a weekly basis.
  • Auditing and balancing payroll input to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Auditing new hires, employee changes, and payouts for terminations.
  • Data entry of direct deposit information, adjustments, special pay, and other deductions as required.
  • Assisting in reporting stop payments/reissues to analyst and OPS.
  • Setting up and distributing Wisely cards.
  • Preparing and providing labor reports to operations.
  • Reporting weekly roster for manager clean-up.
  • Sending weekly audit trails for OT active no pay, etc.
  • Reviewing PTO used time for final pay.
  • Maintaining and distributing payroll time sheets and managing Epay contact list access.
  • Providing support and customer service to employees and field managers for payroll and/or time and attendance issues.
  • Completing payroll and non-payroll related projects/tasks as required.

Key Interactions:

  • Engage with all leaders and stakeholders.
  • Engage with all employees organizationally as needed.
  • Partner with the Payroll Manager and Director of Payroll

Requirements (Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Education and/or Experience):

  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines daily.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage changing demands with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Experience with ADP e.
  • Knowledge of multi-state wage and hour laws.
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor compliance laws.
  • Associates or technical degree preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
