Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Outpatient
Location: Manchester, CT
Compensation: $115K–$150K DOE
Loan Repayment Eligible: Up to $75K through NHSC for qualifying candidates
Experience Level: Open to new grads and experienced providers

Overview:
We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a busy outpatient pediatric practice in Manchester, CT. This is a full-time role providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, with a strong focus on compassion, accessibility, and quality outcomes. Candidates interested in loan repayment may qualify for up to $75,000 in assistance through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) for a two-year full-time service commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, physicals, and evaluations for both acute and chronic conditions.

  • Develop and manage pediatric care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the care team.

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor treatment effectiveness.

  • Provide patient and family education on preventive care, wellness, and disease management.

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

  • Participate in patient follow-up and care coordination.

  • Engage in teaching opportunities with medical students and health professionals.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Connecticut.

  • Board Certification in Pediatrics or Family Practice with pediatric experience.

  • Connecticut Controlled Substance license and DEA registration.

  • BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

  • Strong communication, organizational, and patient engagement skills.

  • Experience in pediatrics preferred; recent graduates with pediatric rotations are encouraged to apply.
