Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing, with the ability to handle various plumbing tasks in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a thorough understanding of plumbing systems, excellent mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation and repair tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Perform pipe threading and assembly of various piping materials.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure timely project completion.
- Assist with HVAC installations as needed, demonstrating versatility in skills.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment on-site.
- Provide maintenance person services for minor repairs or remodeling projects as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, with a solid understanding of plumbing principles and practices.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
- Experience working on construction sites is essential, demonstrating the ability to adapt to various environments.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Knowledge of carpentry is beneficial for integrated projects involving both plumbing and structural work.
- A valid commercial driver’s license is preferred for transportation of materials when necessary.
